Reunions
Mercy High School, San Francisco has more than 11,000 graduates across the country and around the world, and each alumna is an important member of the Mercy Skipper family. While Mercy has closed as a school, reunions, events, and networking opportunities will not end! Let's work together to keep Mercy's legacy alive and remembered for many years to come.
Class of 1974 Reunion
On October 12, 2024, 60+ 1974 classmates and three faculty members gathered at the Basque Cultural Center to celebrate our 50th high school reunion. The room was bedecked in red and white, we sang the school song and took selfies together. Old friends shared memories and laughter and made plans to stay in touch. We honored our lost classmates. Attendees left with a custom-designed lapel pin and printed commemorative wine glass. Sr. Mary Waskowiak (aka Sr. Deborah Mary) spoke about her ministry with the Sisters of Mercy, assisting vulnerable migrants at the border (https://casademisericordia.org/). Our raffle fundraiser provided a nice donation to support Sister's work.
Class of 1964 Reunion
36 members of the Class of '64 celebrated their 60th Reunion on September 14, 2024 at the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco. It was a wonderful turnout. We enjoyed reconnecting, catching up on each other's lives, and sharing memories of our time at Mercy.
The first graduating, class, of 1956, had a reunion on April 13, 2024. They’re going strong!
